Splitting time between his hometown of Naarm and a relentless touring schedule, Reptant’s reputation now precedes him worldwide as one of the most in-demand live acts. We were lucky to catch him at exactly the right moment – just as he returned home from tour, reunited with a newly acquired RE-808. A faithful replica of an instrument that’s been circulating for about 45 years, the 808 continues to prove it still has vast unexplored territory, especially in the hands of such a visionary producer.
