The Wicked Bass label kicks off 2022 with some big and playful sounds from Borys here. ‘Voice In My Head’ has a wonky, drunken groove that is easy to love and easier to dance to. Crispy hits and ass-wiggling bass keep you locked for the duration while ‘Grooveboxing’ gets more sleazy, with wifey synths and twitchy stabs all layers dup over a harder edge beat. ‘Peroxide’ then brings back that playful sense of bass which made the open so essential, this time with tripped out synth motifs and last of all ‘Kwaks’ slips into a deep and seductive techno mould.
